Thanks for this. This has recently happened to me. It’s a surreal feeling as you’ve been wanting to hear from them and so this breadcrumb of attention means a lot, but it shouldn’t etc. I’m debating on blocking him as I want to get over him and the situation; his viewing of my stories only gives me an adrenaline rush and harbors in me a false hope when I need to go cold turkey. Last thing, I’ve read elsewhere about the “it’s an accident” that he looked at your story, albeit im not the most knowledgeable about Instagram, but I tend to post a couple of photos on my story and it shows he looked at them all, if it were an accident and didn’t want to see it he’d be able to swipe past first, plus I’m not sure I buy the auto play thing as they have ads between the stories, but I get there’s always a chance they left the stories playing and put their phone down or something. I just don’t see why anyone wouldn’t swipe out of app first. Anyways thanks for helping me focus on the reality check of not reading into it too much.

These answers seem to be true for an older 30+ mom. My first kids were when I was a teenager/early 20s! You don’t have any of these problems as a young mom!!! It’s unfortunately just a trade off!!! Birth will be harder too but you’re in a better place to take care of a baby at an older age.

The guy im dating announced that he and his ex have booked a holiday together for his birthday, they have a key to eachothers houses, he drops everything to run errands and do diy jobs for her. There is being friendly with an ex and then maintaining a friendship. I had an ex who had his ex girlfriend attend every family event. They worked together. They had lunch together. My current FwB just ended a week ago after 2 years. We've been friends for over a decade having started as Co-Workers. I'm Aromantic and She knew that going in so catching feelings was never an issue for Us. We were planning stuff for last weekend since we hadn't been together in over a year and She called me the night before and expressed how She was feeling and that She needs that Romantic aspect to feel something.
